Be careful
There is a great difference between older \ elder
older is used in comparative degree and before nouns
Hind is older than Soher.
Hind is my older sister.
However. elder is used only before nouns and can't be used in comparative degree
Hind is my elder sister.She is three years older than me,
We can say
Hind is the older of the two. NOT the elder of the two
older can be used in comparing people or things whereas elder is used with poeple and can't be followed by than
