tie , attach

هاك ما طلبت :

أولا :set fire make fire
set fire to : Idiom
To cause to ignite and burn
و يعنى أن الشخص يسبب شيئا ما فى أن يشتعل أو يشعل شيئا . .

أما make a fire فتعنى

أى gather and light the materials for; "make a fire" يجمع الأشياء و يضرم فيها النيران
و على هذا فإن make a fire لها معنى إضافى و هو جمع الشئ الذى سيحرقه الشخص .

بالنسبة لــــ attach to
attach to - be present or associated with an event or entity;
أى أنها تأتى بمعنى ملازم لــ ، أو مرافق لــ ، أو يأتى معه
مثال :
"French fries come with the hamburger
fish usually goes with white wine


أما tie to
فلها معنيان
الأول : أن يربط ، يقيد شخص أو شئ بآخر . tie someone or something to something
The robber tied the clerk to a chair. I tied colored yarn to the birthday present.
الثانى :

أى أن يوجد ( يكون) الصلة ، بين شخص أو شئ :
مثال :
The police are trying to tie Lefty to the burglaryسرقة
. They'll never tie me to that bunch of crooks!
to associate someone with something; to make a connection between someone and something.
