The question asked "Who said these words and to whom". You can never expect the answer to be: It was said by the writer to the readers. This is not an audiobook. And the writer wasn't speaking to the readers. I am actually anxious to see the model answer. If the model answer states that these words were said by the narrator to the readers it would be ridiculous and illogical.
