mevin celvin is the one who discovered and studied the nature of dark reactions by using carbon isotop C 14 . he found that when photosynthesis process takes place for 2 sec only .. a 3 carbon compound PGAL is formed which is the first stable conpound in photosynthesis process and from it all the products of photosynthesis process are formed .. he also pointed that formation of hexose sugar doesn't take place in one stop but in several intermidiate chemical reactions catalyzed by enzymes
