Woman in judiciary القضاءcan play an important role to improve تحسينthe judicial system النظام القضائيtowards نحوgender issues قضايا النوع. As the incidence حدوثof crimes against ضدwomen is increasing تزداد, there is need to strengthen تقويةthe judicial system by appointing تعيينmore women judges قاضياتto deal with issues قضاياrelating to متعلقةwomen and the family . As more and more cases of disputes نزاعاتwithin the family are arising تنشأ. The purpose الغرضand aim of establishing Family Courts محاكم الأسرة is to protect and preserve تحفظthe institution تأسيس of marriage الزواج and to promote تؤيدthe welfare رفاهيةof children and provide for settlement تسويةof disputes by conciliation بالمصالحة.
There is need to create awareness الوعيat the grassroot أصليlevel regarding بخصوصthe judicial system and to make women aware مدركاتof their legal شرعيةrights حقوق . Television and radio can play a vital role in spreading legal literacy القراءة والكتابةamong rural and urban women النساء الريفيات والحضريات.
