Why was axel terrified on the island in the lidenbrock sea?

because they saw a huge shape and they thought that it was another sea monster
but on the island they were afraid because the ground trembled

What was effect of the storm on the raft?
The raft rush at a great speed and a ball of fire burst on it

What was geyster?
A gyeser is a fountain of hot water
