جزاك الله خيراً
Banana republic is a political science term for a politically unstable country, whose economy is largely dependent on exporting a limited-resource product, e.g. bananas. It typically has stratifiedsocial classes, including a large, impoverished working class and a ruling plutocracy of business, political, and military elites. This politico-economic oligarchy controls the primary-sector productions to exploit the country's economy. Many countries that obtained ostensible freedom from colonial masters in the 20th and 21st centuries have at times there after tended to share traits of banana republics due to influence of large private corporations in their politics - for example, The Maldives (Resort companies) The Philippines (tobacco industry, the US government and corporations, and the Chinese government) Nicaragua and Panama (American interests through the National Endowment for Democracy). I think we'll never be banana republic for many reasons. First, our people are friendly, honest, determined, have strong will, have strong stamina, hard work, peace lovers, want to sacrifice every dear for their country. Secondly, they never have a fight and lose. They might lose a battle, but they never lose the war. They can bear the burdens of life to see their country blessed with peace, security, safety and social justice. Thirdly, the people won't let themselves suffer injustice again. As they showed the whole world that no one can control them unless he cares for their interest. Fourthly, we all must work hard and endure the cruel laws to support our dear country's weak economy. We should rationalize our uasage of everything like water ,electricity and fuel. To sum up, the nature of our people won't allow our beloved country to be a banana republic.
