4- The progress , welfare , prosperity and renaissance of any nation
depends greatly on its youth so the youth should take part in the
huge industrial projects , the reclamation of the desert and teaching
the illiterate .
5- We should encourage businessmen to invest their wealth in Egypt
and develop the country’s economy .
6- Most people suffer from the diseases of the age represented in stress
and tension .
7- Television has both advantages and disadvantages . Although it
play a great role in raising our standard of culture and knowledge
it is considered a waste of time .
8- Travelling abroad enables us to acquire a lot of experience and
know the customs and traditions of a lot of other countries .
9- Libraries play an important role in spreading awareness among
citizens as they contain a lot of books in all fields and branches of
knowledge . As reading enriches our general knowledge , the
government sets up a lot of libraries all over the country .
10- Nuclear power is a double – edged weapon . Although it has
a great role in the progress of science , it can also destroy the world
11- Every year , the International Book Fair in Cairo is held . It hosts
the famous scientists , writes , poets , artists , thinkers and literary
men through cultural seminars .
12- School give due care to school activities and setting up camps so
that student can practice their different hobbies . Schools also
make competitions so that students can show their talents ,
abilities and skills .
13- Each individual must have good qualities such as tolerance ,
honesty , co – operation , unselfishness , justice , belonging ,
generosity, sincerity , thoughtfulness , self – denial , self – respect ,
self – dependence , self – confidence , self – sacrifice , wisdom and
being civilized .
14- Mass – media play an important role in illustrating the importance
of the cultural role of Egypt in the area . That’s because they are
well – equipped with the latest technology .
15- We should rationalize the consumption of energy and search for
alternative sources of energy before the recent ones run out .
16- Every citizen should do his best to increase our exports , decrease
our imports and raise our standard of living .
17- Smoking has bad effects on the smokers and the non – smokers . It
is an epidemic which we should get rid of .
18- Scientists do their best to provide the latest discoveries and
inventions for humanity .
19- The ministry of tourism aims to set up a lot of hotels and tourist
villages and provide all the possible facilities for tourists in order
to attract the biggest number of tourists and increase the hard
currency .
20- The government pays great attention to woman and provide her
with education and jobs as well as medical and social care .
21- The Egyptians have chosen president Mubarak for a fifth term of
office . This shows that they have great confidence in their
president . Great hopes are laid on him to achieve progress and
welfare for his people .
22- The Egyptian attitude towards the current events shows our
features and noble values .
23- Man can never do without water and air. But for them, all the livings
would be demolished ( completely destroyed )
24- The Cairo Metro (underground) is one of the greatest engineering
achievements. It contributes greatly to solving the problem of
transportation in the Greater Cairo .
25- The government provides the youth with opportunities to work and
earn a living. This is by offering (providing) loans to set up their small
own business (projects) .
26- Scientists carry out a lot of ( several) researches to make full use of the
renewable resources of energy like (such as ) water, wind and
nuclear power.
27- Although Egypt has a comprehensive rail network and a high standard
rail service available to tourists and Egyptians who can afford it , most
Egyptian rail passengers travel packed into cramped compartments on
old, slow trains. Moreover , Passengers often carry large amounts of
baggage, take small animals onto the trains and prepare their own
meals - sometimes using portable gas cookers.



28- Moving the magnificent statue of Ramses II the greatest warrior king
in ancient Egypt from the chaos that usually defines Ramses Square
is the best decision that could have been taken to protect the statue .
29- Hundreds of thousands of people have lined Cairo's streets to bid
farewell to one of the metropolis's landmarks as the colossal statue of
Ramses II completed its journey from the polluted city to a spot
near the Pyramids.
30- Naguib Mahfouz , the son of two civilization , passed away after more
than a week of hospitalization. The death of Naguib Mahfouz is a great
loss, not just to Arab literature, but to world literature as a whole.
He was a great novelist who won the 1988 Noble prize for literature .
31- Getting out of the narrow Nile valley and reclaiming the desert are
our only hope for a better life for the coming generation .
32- Egypt has achieved a great progress in the various fields of industry,
education and modern technology .
33- A lot of agricultural and industrial projects are carried out in upper
Egypt to provide better job opportunities (work chances) for
the citizens there .
34- Awarding Dr. Zewail the Nobel prize for chemistry is a source of
pride for all the Egyptians and the Arabs .
35- The Arab scientists and thinkers had a great effect on
the western culture .
36- Do you think there is an opposition between the globalization and
the national identity ?
37- The Egyptian monuments (antiquities) and museums attract millions
of tourists from all over the world .
38- All peace-loving countries dream of a world where peace and
co-operation prevail .
39- Learning foreign languages and computer is very necessary
(essential ) for every learner nowadays .
40- A lot of African and Asian countries suffer from (undergo) civil wars,
drought and starvation (famines) .
