21-Asking questions

1-. (Yes &No Questions)
1-We usually make questions by putting the auxiliary verb before the subject
-Ali is a teacher. –Is Ali a teacher? (Yes, he is. No, he isn't)
-They have eaten. –Have they eaten?(Yes, they have. No, they haven't)
-He will come. –Will he come?(Yes, he will. No, he won't)
2-If there's no auxiliary verb, use (do-does/did)
-They like tea. –Do they like tea?(Yes, they do. No, they don't)
-Ali likes oranges. –Does Ali like oranges?(Yes, he does. No, he doesn't)
-He bought a car. –Did he buy a car? (Yes, he did. No, he didn't)


2-(Wh. Questions)
3-When (who-which-what-how many….) is the subject of a sentence, don't use (do-does/did)
-Who left the door open?

-Which student came first?
-What happened to you yesterday?
4-When (who-whom-which-what-how many) is the object of a sentence use(do-does/did)
-Who did you meet yesterday?
-Whom did the teacher punish?
