IE 7 Beta 3 now available for download

Last week Microsoft released a new public beta (B3) of Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP and Server 2003 (this one is not for Vista). Most of the changes are just fixes for bugs found in the previous betas, but there are a few good new features, such as the ability to drag tabs to reorder them and some improvements to the RSS functionality. We also get the email button back on the toolbar (as an option) - hurray for that. If you're using Beta 2, you may want to upgrade - but you'll have to uninstall the previous beta first, which is a bit annoying. If you want to try it out, you can get Beta 3 here:

Microsoft says Beta 3 will have better compatibility with existing web sites. Funny thing is, the only problem I've had with IE 7 was in trying to access a few of Microsoft's own sites. Ironically, three or four times I encountered pages on Microsoft's site that would give me "page not found" or other errors in IE 7 - but I was able to go to those same pages using Firefox.
