* أحيانا لا يكون هناك فرق بين الزمنين.
*بعض الأفعال معناها يدل على أنها تستغرق وقتا طويلا ولذلك يفضل استخدامها في زمن المضارع التام المستمر مثل :
Work – wait – live – sleep – etc.
*هناك أفعال معناها يدل على أنها تستغرق وقتا قصيرا ولذلك يجب ل استخدامها في زمن المضارع التام البسط مثل :
