LIFE IN A YOUTH CAMP

* There's no doubt that life in a youth camp is very useful as it teaches us cooperation, discipline and independence. When we go camping and the supervisors ask us to do a certain job, we cooperate together to do it well. We also learn discipline for we follow a daily routine during our stay in the camp. We get up early, have a wash, do some exercises and have breakfast. After that we go out of the camp to do something useful to the environment. We plant trees along the sides of our streets, paint the governmental buildings, or help traffic policemen in controlling the traffic. We learn independence as well. At home, our parents do everything for us; but at youth camps, we do everything by ourselves.

GOOD NEIGBOURS AND BAD ONES

* Man is a sociable creature who can't live in isolation.
He must have neighbours who may be good or bad. I am not an exception for I have neigbours, too .Some of them are ideal; others are neighbours from hell!
Fortunately, the people who live next door to me are ideal for they are helpful, thoughtful, hospitable, and kind.
When I find myself short of money, they lend me what I need to help me overcome my financial problem. Moreover, they are thoughtful as they share us our joy and annoy. They are also hospitable and often invite me to lunch or dinner. I respect them as they never interfere in my private life and I behave with them in the same way. Despite having such good neighbours, I consider myself unlucky for the neighbours who live at the end of our street are neighbours from hell! They are rude, selfish, thoughtless and dishonest. They always insult us for no reason. They throw their rubbish in front of our house. They sometimes steal valuable things from our house when we are away. Their children are so noisy and always quarrel with my little brothers and call them names.
