*ياتى بعد since وقت محدد ( نقطة بداية) ويستخدم زمن المضارع التام المستمر( المضارع التام)
*ياتى بعد for فترة زمنية محددة . ويستخدم زمن المضارع التام المستمر( المضارع التام)
*ياتى قبل ago فترة زمنية محددة. وتستخدم مع زمن الماضى البسيط
I have been living in Bir El Abd since 1979. I have been living in Bir El Abd for 28 years.
I started (began) to live in Bir El Abd 28 years ago It's 28 years since I started living in Bir El Abd.
*المضارع التام المثبت لا يحول الفعل ذاتة الى ماضى بسيط عند استخدام ago او It's ولكن يتم اضافة الفعل start او begin فى زمن الماضى والعكس.
I have not seen my brother since 2002.
I have not seen my brother for five years.
I last saw my brother five years ago ( in 2002).
It's five years since I saw my brother.
*نلاحظ هنا ان المضارع التام المنفى عند تحويله الى ماضى بسيط مع agoوIt's يحول الفعل نفسه دون استخدام start اوbegin
I last met Ali when we were at Alexandria.

*عند التحويل من ماضى بسيط الى مضارع تام منفى تحول when الى since
* دائما الماضى البسيط مع last او the last time يحول الى مضارع تام منفى مع since او for
