other تعني ثاني اثنين اى لا ثالث لهم
my arm and my other arm
my eye and my other eye
other قد تصف اسم مفرد او جمع
the other book / the other books
فلو فرضنا انك ارسلت لشراء قلمين فجييئ لك بقلم واحد فتسأل where is the other pen?
قد يأتي لفظ one or ones بعد other لتجنب تكرار الاسم
قد نستخدم other او others كضمائر
some people go to the seaside ,others prefer staying at home
اما another فتعني أخر و يجد غيره
a student , another stuent
another قد تعنى more / different
this coffe tastes delicious. May I have another one = one more
اي يريد فنجان أضافى
this apple is bad. I want another one.= different one
another صفة لاسم مفرد و ليس لاسم جمع
اما another 5 years تعتبر مده واحد اى تعاملنا نعها كمده و احدة و بالتالي خذت anotherوقد يكون هناك مده اخري ثانية و ثالثة
