وبالتالي أصبح المشترك بين الجملتين هو

وبالتالي تكون الإجابة
who
حيث أن ضمير الوصل يأتي بعد الاسم الذي يحل محله
( الاسم المشترك)
وليس قبله

none of the following multiple choices is correct. The correct answer is "whom" as follows:
who is not correct because of the preposition "to" in the sentence
which is also a mistake because of the existence of "this book"
