In the Secondary Two WB page 22, Ex. 1, items (b) and (c), why are the answers to put the indefinite article "a" as mentioned in the Teacher's Guide? Isn't it correct to say "After university education" or "After the university education" meaning his university education? And isn't it correct also to say "The first job he did" as mentioned in the listening text?

The answer to B is correct: After a university education. The indefinite article is used because there is more than one type of education possible — secondary, technical, post-graduate, etc. You could also say after his university education or after university.

You are correct that the answer to C should be the. This will be corrected in the next printing.
