i see that there is no mistake found in the above-mentioned sentence as you respectedly explained. the subject is not dangling in either sentence , because it is already mentioned" : someone----our flat.....it is clear that the subject is unknown in sentence two--although it is known who were having lunch from the possessive adjective " our".....it should be reconsidered more and again
I completely agree with you, there is no mistake..
