الحل الصحيح كما اشار زملائي هى the others حيث انها جمع وتعود على ضمير الفاعل الاول we فأصبحت تشير له واصبحت جزء من كل محدد ومعرف . ولكن others تستخدم غالبا للتعميم .

أما other فيجب أن يأتى بعدها الاسم المشار اليه ولايحذف

But I'm afraid I don't agree with him on the above quoted words
the others has nothing to do with the pronoun " WE". It refers to all the other people away from "US"
People here are divided into two SECTIONS: WE + all other people
WE + THE OTHERS

But of course the correct answer is still THE OTHERS

another (adj./pron.)

آخـــــر (خلاف ما أو من ذكر)

صيغة نكرة تستخدم عندما نشير إلى شخص أو شيء لازال يوجد غيره من الأشخاص أو الأشياء. ويمكن استخدامها كصفة يليها اسم موصوف أو كضمير لا يليها الاسم الموصوف.

I have three brothers: one brother is a doctor, another brother is a teacher and the other brother is an engineer.
I have three brothers: one is a doctor, another one is a teacher and the other one is an engineer.
I have three brothers: one is a doctor, another is a teacher and the other is an engineer.

another هنا ضمير لا يتبعها صفة وإنما الفعل مباشرة فهى فى موقع الفاعل

الآخــــــر (الشخص أو الشيء المتبقى)

تستخدم عندما نشير إلى الشخص أو الشيء الأخير أو المتبقى (وتستخدم إما كصفة أو ضمير كما سبق شرحه مع another:-

He was waving with one hand and driving with the other hand (the other one).
He was waving with one hand and driving with the other.

تستخدم The other مع الوقت للإشارة إلى حدث وقع فى وقت ما فى الماضى قبل وقت آخر.

The other day / month / year / week …………etc.
I met him at the station the other day. (the previous day)

عند الإشارة إلى أشخاص أو أشياء (جمع) نستخدم الصيغ التالية

....(أشخاص / أشياء)....... آخــرين

تستخدم للإشارة إلى بعض الأشخاص أو الأشياء فى حالة النكرة وذلك عندما لا يزال يوجد غيرهم آخرين: (وهى تستخدم كصفة فقط أى يجب أن يليها اسم موصوف جمع أو الضمير ones

تستخدم كبديل لـ other فى حالة الجمع عندما نستخدمها كضمير لا يليها اسم موصوف وهى أيضا تشير إلى مجموعة من الأشخاص أو أشياء الأخرى والتى لا يزال يوجد مجموعات أخرى غيرها .

We are sitting here while others are working.
Some students like studying English, others prefer French.

The other (adj.)

الـ .....(الأشخاص / الأشياء)...الأخرى / الآخرين (أى المتبقين)

تستخدم للإشارة إلى المجموعة المتبقية من الأشخاص أو الأشياء التى سبق أن تحدثنا عن غيرهم وهى تستخدم فى هذه الحالة كصفة فقط يجب أن يتبعها موصوف جمع سواء اسم أو الضمير ones

- Some people like fish but the other people hate it.
- At my birthday, some of my friends were playing cards, others were watching TV and the other friends are talking.

The others (pronoun.)

الآخرين (أى المتبقين / وهى تستخدم فى حالة الجمع)

تستخدم عند الإشارة إلى مجموعة الأشخاص أو الأشياء المتبقية بدلا من the other وذلك عند حذف أو عدم ذكر الاسم الموصوف (أى أنها تكون ضمير فقط). عند استخدام The others فإننا نعنى أنا نشير إلى المجموعة الأخيرة المتبقية وهذا هو الفرق الجوهرى بينها وبين others.

Else (adverb) = besides / also

آخر (خلاف هذا) وهى تستخدم بعد أحد الكلمات الآتية:

someone else
somebody else
something else

no-one else
nobody else
nothing else

anyone else
anybody else
anything else

everyone else
everybody else
everything else

I didn’t mean that. I meant something else.
This is not the man. There was someone else.

كذلك تستخدم بعد بعض أدوات الاستفهام مثل:

What else .........? Who else ……? Where else …….?
What else can I do for you?
Who else attended the party?
