![]() Boasting about our glorious past and our ancestors’ achievements is not a bad thing in itself, but when this becomes our habit, it is clear that we are on the wrong track. I wonder if there are any other people who behave in the same way we do. Our life has become full of slogans. We are very much interested in history, talking about things that no longer exist, forgetting everything about our present or future. How have we reached this state of affairs? How long shall we remain oblivious to the danger? Is there a way out of this? I believe there is. If we take matters more seriously and if we work harder, we can perform miracles. The problem is that we don’t try. I’m dead sure that we, Egyptians, can surpass the Japanese or any other nation. But, how can this be done? Time will tell.
