oxidation of glucose means the breaking down of the bonds between the atoms to produce the possible highest amount of energy for vital activities and this can be observed in the process of cellular respiration in which the glucose is broken down to 2 molecules of pyruvic acid in the end of glycolysis to produce 2ATP and then it continues to be broken down completely in krebs cycle and electron transport to produce 36 ATP so the total amount of atp produced is 38 ATP from one molecule of glucose
so the best meaning of the oxidation of glucose is the cellular respiration . because in photosynthesis the glucose is formed not broken down
