Mr. Hany..You're are absolutely right..when "every day" is used as an adverb, it must be written as two separate words

Here the word "every " is used as a determiner to mean that something is repeated regularly

Here is an example from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary

Every day in the United States 25 people are murdered with handguns.
