Three questions in today's test that confused me

Dear all:
I had 3 questions that I want their answer:

1- Number 14 on the choose : why is " he had passed the exam" right, and couldn't be" he will pass the exam"? isn't it she was wondering in the past about a future?

2- In the question of speakers, number 1: Speaker A: ... I wrote >>>>> a customer, or a spectateur " not spectator " .
will they consider it wrong to me?

3- the novel, question number 2 in the complete section
I wrote: ( When she felt the hot air of Cairo, after she got out of the plane)
Is that wrong? and how many grades are on this question?
