Once, Our English teacher at school asked us while we're doing workbook
Are you finished??
WE said yes
He laughed on us
We didn't concentrate on the form
Then he said that the true formation for this question is have you finished? not Are you finished? AS the second one means Are you died?
That's what he said
He was a great teacher and I admire him most

actually ....I wasn't sure of it !
you know we sometimes think in Arabic ,then translate into English..... but that's a common mistake ....!!!
