لي أن أقارنك ِ بأحدأيام ِ الصيف ؟

هل ليأن أقارنك ِ بأحد أيام ِ الصيف ؟
أنت ِ أكثرُ روعة ً منه ُ و اعتدالا
فرياح ُ الصيفِ تهز ُ براعم َ مايو فى عنف ,
ويوم ُ الصيفِ فىمعظمهِ سريعُ الزوالا :

فشمس ُ الصيف ِ تلفحنا أحياناً بلهيب ٍ مننار
وتحيل ُ جبهته ُ الذهبية إلى لون ٍ كئيبِ
وكل ُ جمالٍ يهلُ عليهِ جمال ٌينزويي وينهار
بالصدفة , بفعل ِ الأيام ِ الرتيبة يأتي للمشيب ِ

لكنَجمال َ صيفكِ الأزلي لن يخضع َ للفَناء
ولن يضيع َ ما وهبك ِ الله ُ من سحرٍوكمالِ
الموت ُ أمامكِ يفرُ مهزوماً فى حياء
وأنت ِ دوماً في قصيدي تكبرينَ فى جلال

طالما بقي نَفَّس ٌ بإنسان ٍ , أو عين ٌ ترى سحرَ الوجود ,
فسوفَ يبقى شعري نابضاً يعطيكِ فيضاً للخلود !!

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
