But I think a lot about the difference between them let's think I prefer listening to music to watching Tv (this is generally what I like ) but now or today I prefer to watch tv means it isn't my habit what do you think of this? |

Both are correct, with no difference in meaning. But there is a difference in the structure:
I prefer something to something else. I prefer apples to oranges. I prefer doing something to doing something else. I prefer eating apples to eating oranges. I prefer to do something rather than (do) something else. I prefer to eat apples rather than (eat) oranges.
