ويمكن استخدام asked-wondered-inquired بدلا من wanted to know

here we use should as supposed to be
so it will be :
I should have been with my friends =
I was supposed to be with my friends

-your answer turns it into Question & the meaning will be that he is able to be with them and he is asking himself about being with them or not
so you can`t use Should @ first as a Question

what is the difference between though and although

though means despite the fact that something is true .is a conjunction and an adverb it can be used in any part in the sentence
we can also use it with even to give the same meaning
it also can be used with as to be equaivalent to as if
although means in spite of the fact that something is true or real
it can only be used at the beginning or in the middle of the sentence
