It`s time / It`s about time / It`s high time are followed by past simple (or continuous). It is unreal past. They mean: I should have done that action before now

The second sentence
It did not take us long to reach (infinitive) ........ and jump (infinitive) off

These are successive actions: reach then jump off. Some information could be added in between like when we use the relative pronouns (who, which, etc.) or adverbs (where, when, etc.) -
