The first sentence was: i don't know where i put ....so the answer should be: I wish i knew where i put
The second sentence: i have forgotten ( is the same as i forgotin meaning, so the answer should be i wish i hadn't forgotten as we can't say i don't forget the meaning would be absurd and weird and impossible.
