Waleed was seventeen when he had a terrible car accident. While he
was going back home from school, he fell under a tram.
Because of the accident Waleed lost his Leg and an arm.
Waleed was taken to the hospital. He thought his life came to the end.
A lot of people visited waleed in the hospital one of them was a
swimming teacher, the swimming teacher told waleed to be brave and
not to give up hope. When Walled left the hospital the swimming
teacher taught him how to swim? At first Waleed swam 50 meters
then hundred meters then two hundred meters.
Waleed became a good swimmer. In 1990 Waleed did a fantastic thing
.He swam fifty kilometers across the sea from England to France.
In 1996 waleed went to America and took apart in the Paralympic
games and won a medal in swimming.
