what do films represent to you?</span>

Are these a sort of entertainment or a means of culture or What?

A film is supposed to consider an idea or a problem and try to discuss it.
Then people, including publics, critics and thinkers put steps to solve or reduces
the effect of the problem.

This is the function of any film over ages

When the idea of a film( as we see now clearly) is extremely bad ,depends only
on squint, convulsion and screaming, has nothing to persent to discuss , and bad tastes
of people , We`ll reach our motto for coming years. (NO Aim, NO fun , NO reasoning
NO understanding , NO laughter, NO virtues and yes to vices ,,joking and uselessness)


When do we say that any film is better than the other ? and why?
the answer will be so difficult .

We should understand the question first
and know what `s (better) meaning?

Does it related to the amount of laughter, the impressive story or your mood on watching the film?
this matter relies on you, so I won`t talk about it.

On the other hand, If we put some egyptian films in focus,they `ll prove my point of view
these are some famous or as they say splendid films

number one, the most boring film in the history and the main reason for not going again to the Cinema
for ever(KATKOOT) >>>It`s enough to say it has no story
I swear that I was in a bad need of a translator(you know WHY?)

number two, (WESH EGRAAM)
I think it`s the same words before ,but it`s appalling thing that we must afford watching
an actor laughing at himself in his all films!!!!!

number three,(wahed men El nas)
Perhaps i`ll say that I respect this film for one only reason.......
it succeeded between the flood of comic films...
regardless of its repeated idea
the actor ,of course is the hero and seeks for revenge all the film.

number four, ( 3omaret ya3qobian)
the feature of this film is the problems discussed without solutions!!!!!
leaving unwanted thing, the film is very good
if we wondered why the author wrote the story in such a way....
I`ll reply that the film won`t succeed abroad in another way..

number five,(spare time)
or (aw`at fara3`)
it`s really wonderful film
it discussed an important problem>>>>(our free time)
although It didn`t discuss all ideas, it opened the door for many coming films to solve
this problem....


the rest of films
I think they aren`t worthy calling themselves films...

I hope l discussed the problem from a logical standpoint ....

secondly i agree wiz u in all u have said

u know i hate moh sa3d , u know why ?

cuz he is just a clown not a good one but a very bad one

but i couldnt understand why his silly films r the best in egyptian box office

for wesh egram , henedy's jokes are the same in all of his films but at least he is more polite than sa3d

wahed men el-nas has the same story of amir el- entekam by anwer wagdy

awqat fara3' is a good film as it showed the problems of our generation

firstley, thanks khaled sooo much 4 this topic
and u really successeded in passing ur point of view 2 us
i won't talk a lot
i just wanna say that nowadays
there is no actors , no good movies ,nothing add 2 our society
now what we can see is that our eastern society lacks 2 the arabian spirit
and i really mean it
now what we do is that we do what the west do without thinking
and the worst is our choices
we usually choose the worst and make a copy of it
so that's why i really really loathe arabic films
why would i laugh 4 about 2 hours and may be more
and when i get out i try to remember why were i laughing?
of course i find no answer and sure that we will take a long time until we get back what we lost
our arabic identity
