Teaching a language is an interesting and exciting profession. Language teachers do their best to help their students. Learning a language,however,requires great efforts on the part of the learners who have to co-operate with their teachers.
Population in Egypt grows at the rate of two and a half percent.This means that the population of Egypt is going to do double by the end of this century. Unless we do something to slow down the rate of increase .we are going to face a severe shortage of food and less opportunities for work.
Our present cities are growing every year.they are like magnets,attracting people to them from villages by their greater opportunities for work and pleasure. The growth will certainly continue,and the cities of the future will be much bigger and their problems of traffic and housing will be far more complicated than these of today.
Television now plays such an important part in so many people’s lives that it is essential for us to try to decide whether it is a blessing or a curse . Televisionis not only a convenient source of entertainment, but also a cheap one. The danger of television lies in the fact that we get so used to looking at it that it begins to control our lives.
We can learn a lot by travelling . at school we learn geography frombooks,but geography becomes a living thing if we travel to other places. When we visit a foreign country we can also see a different kind of life and listen to new ideas. Travel may make our pockets empty but it certainly fills our minds with knowledge.

تدريس اللغات الاجنبية مهنة شيقة ومثيرة . فمدرسي اللغات يبذلون اقصي ما في وسعهم لمساعدة تلاميذهم . وعلي الرغم من ذلك فإن تعلم لغة اجنبية يتطلب جهود كبيرة من المتعلمين الذين يجب ان يتعاونوا مع مدرسيهم

عدد السكان في مصر يتزايد بمعدل 2.5% . وهذا يعني ان عدد السكان في مصر سوف يتضاعف بنهاية هذا القرن . واذا لم نفعل اي شئ لتقليل معدل الزيادة فإننا سوف نعاني من نقص الغذاء ومن قلة فرص العمل.

ان المدن الحديثة تتزايد كل يوم . وهي تجذب الناس من القري من خلال زيادة فرص العمل والسعادة . وهذا النمو سوف يستمر بالتأكيد ومدن المستقبل سوف تكون اكبر ومشاكل النقل والاسكان ستكون اكثر تعقيدا من هذه الأيام.

التليفزيون يلعب دور هام جدا في حياة الكثير من الناس لذلك لابد ان نحاول ان نقرر اذا كان هذا نعمة او نقمة. والتليفزيون ليس فقط مصدر مناسب للتسلية ولكن رخيص ايضا. وخطر التليفزيون يكمن في اننا تعودنا علي النظر اليه لدرجة انه بدأ يتحكم في حياتنا.

اننا نستطيع ان نتعلم الكثير من خلال التنقل . في المدرسة نتعلم الجغرافيا من الكتب ولكن الجغرافيا تصبح شئ حي لو اننا نسافر الي اماكن اخري . فعندما نزور دولة اجنبية نستطيع ان نري نوع مختلف من الحياة والاستماع الي افكار جديدة . والسفر ربما يتكلف الكثير ولكنه بالتأكيد يملأ عقولنا بالمعرفة
