i think they spent five days becouse the text saying ((we spent 2 days and in 3rd day the heared a roaring noise then the storm lasted 3
so its 5 days

just do you think they are only five days or eight days
1- the next day we had left the coast far behind ( that means 2 days )
2- Night came again and I fell asleep ( That means they were on the thid days )
3- For two days we sailed on . Then , on the third day , we heard a roaring noise ( two days again )
4- For three days we were at the mercy of the storm ( three days )
