. Because he thought that it was written by Snorri Sturlasson in the twelfth century

لاحظوا انه اعتقد ذلك قبل ان يقرأ اسم ارن ساكنيوسيم " عالم القرن السادس عشر"

هناك فرق بين اللغة اللاتينية واللغة الرونية
فى بادىء الامر اعتقد ليدنبروك ان المخطوطة مكتوبة باللغة الرونية ، ولكنه اكتشف بعد دلك عندما رأى اسم ارن ساكناسم مكتوب على المخطوطة فعرف انها مكتوبة باللغة اللاتينية ، لان علماء القردن السادس عشر - وارن ساكناسم واحد منهم - دائما ما يكتبون عن اكتشافاتهم العلمية باللغة اللاتينية
ملحوظة : ليدنبروك كان يعرف اللغة الرونية ومع >لك لم يستطع فهم الرساله
