ايه الفرق

من فضل الاساتذة الكرام كنت عايزة أعرف الفرق بين "electric" ,"electrical"_"historic " ,"historical"

كلمة historical تستخدم مع كل ما له علاقه بالقلم مثل films - stories - novles - paintings - documents - اما كلمة historic مع wars - events - sites - places - speeches - monuments - buildings

Electric = using electricity for power: an electric blanket; an electric kettle


Electrical = related to electricity: electrical switching system; electrical faults

الخلاصة : كلمة electric تعنى أن الشئ يعمل بالكهرباء و خاصة الأدوات و الأجهزة الكهربية ، أو ينتج الكهرباء

كلمة electrical أى أنه على صلة بالكهرباء' electrical

systems', 'a course in electrical engineering', 'an electrical engineer'
أو تطلق للتعبير عن مجال عام ( أكرر ) بوجه عام يعمل بالطاقة الكهربية مثال 'electrical
equipment' فهناا هو لايقصد الجهاز بصفة عامة و لكن يقصد الأجهزة الكهربية مجال عمل الاجهزة بالكهرباء بوجه عام

لديك الحق فى السؤال عن هاتين الكلمتين فهما من أكثر الكلمات التى تجلب الحيرة للبعض :
و الخلاصة :
1- historic تعنى شئ ذو أهمية تاريخية كبيرة 'a historic voyage', 'a historic decision'
2- أو تعنى شئ ذو تاريخ طويل ، بالأحرى يمثل جزء من التاريخ مثل 'a historic tradition', 'a historic building'

أما historical فتعنى :
1- عن أو خاص بأشخاص أو أحداث تمثل جزء من التاريخ 'Historical records suggest that the prince was
fully aware of the murders.'
2-ذو علاقة بالتاريخ a
diary of great historical interest', 'a historical document', 'for historical reason

يعنى ممكن أقول historic book أو historical book ؟
من الممكن أن تقول هذه و تلك لكن المعنى يختلف ؟
الأولى historic book كتاب تاريخى كأن نتحدث عن كتاب وجود فى مقبرة أحد ملوك الفراعنة مثلا .
أما الثانية historical book فتعنى كتاب عن التاريخ ككتاب التاريخ الذى يدرس التاريخ فى الثانوية العامة
