The Importance of Reading


It is quite clear that reading is one of the most useful hobbies . Millions of people practise reading all over the world . First of all it provides us with valuable information in all fields . When we read , we meet other people and see other places . In addition to that it is a wonderful means of passing our free time . In fact reading daily newspapers make us aware of the current events .On the other hand , we should choose good books which enrich our minds . For all these reasons the Egyptian government pays every possible attention to this process . A lot of public libraries are built throughout the country . Above all several reading competitions are held annually . In brief we can say that reading opens the treasure of knowledge and the best friend, one can have is a book.
