I've done my homework except for the composition.
تستخدم قبل الاسم او العبارة الاسمية
except (for) after all and any no everything whole
I 've read all the articles except for the last one.
Nobdy agreeed except for Esam.
تستخدم بعد الكلمات الدالة على التعميم مثل all- any- everyone- nobody -whole ولكن عندما تاتى اول الجملة نستخدم except for فقط وليس except
Exept for Maher and Lames, all my friends liked the idea.
فى حالة حروف الجر والروابط تستخدم except بدون for
He is goodlooking except when he smiles.
بعد الضمائر نستخدم except او except for
We are all ready except for him.
لاحظ الضمير المستخدم يكون ضمير مفعول وليس فاعل
